I miei amici a Trani
Just felt like we needed a photo in here this week!
I shot this picture while in Puglia in August. The photo shows three faces carved into the stone inside the palazzo that was home to our hotel in Trani.
Trani is a sea-side town near Bari, in the heel of the boot. The very tip of Italy!
Godi!
Buona giornata ragazzi!

ReplyDeleteCiao Mike!
ReplyDeleteMa tu che ne pensi? Forse quello a destra -- sembra che stia cercando una birra!
I love the photo from Puglia! It makes me long to visit Italy again (especially southern Italy where my relatives are). More interesting, however, is that it serves as a reminder that Italy is full of all kinds of surprises. Ciambellina, if you had not mentioned that this photo was taken in Puglia, one might even think it came from Southeast Asia. The stone faces are quite intriguing and could probably be interpreted in many different ways. Please keep up the wonderful daily posts!
ReplyDeleteGrazie, cara!
ReplyDeleteI still have a ton of photos from Puglia that I have not published here so every now and again, I am going to whip one out.
Thanks for stopping by!
